Written with artificial intelligence.
Axie Infinity will announce a limited-time Halloween boost for Nightmare Axies in Terrariums on October 16, 2026, at 9 p.m. PHT (9 a.m. EDT). This boost will increase the Atia's Flame earned by Nightmare Axies, affecting rewards in the game's environment.
Details of the Halloween Boost
On October 16, 2026, Axie Infinity will unveil a special Halloween boost in Terrariums specifically for Nightmare Axies. This announcement will be made on the game's Substack at 9 p.m. PHT (9 a.m. EDT). While the extent of the boost remains unspecified, it is confirmed that Nightmare Axies will earn increased Atia's Flame during this limited-time event.
Implications of the Boost
The Atia's Flame is crucial in determining the bAXS earnings of a plot, as it influences how rewards are shared among active plots in the same environment. By enhancing the Flame for Nightmare Axies, players using these Axies will receive a larger share of the rewards while the boost is active. The Axie Infinity team has hinted at potentially rotating boosts among different Axie types in the future based on the success of this Halloween event.
Hosted Plots and Level Cap Increase
Additionally, the recap from October 14 discussed hosted plots, where landowners can host players who don’t own land, sharing rewards automatically. Landowners can set requirements for these plots, which may include a minimum Atia's Flame, giving collections like Nightmare Axies an edge in securing hosting opportunities.
The Axie Infinity team is also planning to increase the level cap for Axies from 60 to 120, with the effort to advance from level 60 to 70 being comparable to the previous climb from levels 1 to 60.
Background on Nightmare Axies
Nightmare Axies were introduced during the Wings of Nightmare event in November 2024 and have a capped supply. They already generate more Atia's Flame than standard Axies, making them advantageous for the upcoming Halloween event. The team has encouraged players to stay tuned for more detailed information to be revealed on October 16.
