RaidLords Introduces Personalized Champions Ahead of Robinhood Chain Launch

RaidLords has announced that each player will receive a customizable knight named Champion, designed to accompany them on raids and defend their villages. The game is set to launch on the Robinhood Chain, with a waitlist currently open and a $3,000 prize pool for participants.

Champion System Overview

In the upcoming strategy game RaidLords, every player will be given a personal knight called a Champion. Players can name their Champion, who will assist in raids and protect their village while they are offline. The game, developed by 0xOziK, will be available on the Robinhood Chain, which is an Ethereum Layer 2 solution.

Game Mechanics

The Champion system includes:

  • Armoury: The knight has four equipment slots for a weapon, shield, helm, and charm, with item rarity ranging from common to legendary.
  • Valor Ranks: As players advance, their Champions grow stronger through Valor ranks.
  • Stances: Players can choose one of three stances—Guardian, Warlord, or Berserker—each providing unique advantages.
  • Champion Trials: A solo mode where players’ knights can battle against bandit knights independently.

Joining the Waitlist

To get involved, players can join the waitlist by completing six steps, which include: 1. Connecting a compatible wallet (this does not require a transaction). 2. Linking their X account. 3. Interacting with RaidLords posts by following, liking, sharing, and commenting. 4. Claiming a RaidLord card.

Optional tasks, such as sharing about the game and inviting friends, can earn bonus points. For each friend that joins and completes the raid, players receive 50 referral points. The waitlist is currently open, and all members will receive one day of early access once the game launches.

Prize Pool and Rewards

The total prize pool for early participants is $3,000, divided as follows:

  • $2,000 for the top 100 players on the final leaderboard.
  • $1,000 distributed among 100 randomly selected participants outside the top 100.

Additionally, there’s a creator program with $3,000 and 200 whitelist spots for outstanding contributions.

Background and Future

The RaidLords website is currently marked as 'coming soon,' and no specific launch date or platform information has been provided yet. Players who previously participated in 0xOziK’s earlier project, Stonewatch, will receive rewards upon launch. Robinhood Chain aims to create an engaging multiplayer strategy experience, further solidifying its presence in the blockchain gaming landscape.
