Illuvium: Arena Introduces v1.18.8 and Abyssal Chasm Event Pass
Written with artificial intelligence.

Illuvium has launched version 1.18.8 of Illuvium: Arena, accompanied by the 19-day Abyssal Chasm Event Pass, which runs until October 27. Players can earn rewards through Ranked Gauntlet matches and must act quickly as rewards will not be available after the event concludes.
New Event Pass Details
On October 7, Illuvium released version 1.18.8 of Illuvium: Arena alongside the Abyssal Chasm Event Pass. This pass will be active for 19 days, concluding on October 27 at 00:00 UTC, and is the second Event Pass introduced in less than a month.
Players can earn Arena Points by participating in Ranked Gauntlet matches, with rewards unlocking at various thresholds from 3 to 750 Arena Points. It’s important to note that points from Unranked matches do not contribute to progress. Illuvium emphasizes that once the event ends, the associated rewards will no longer be available.
Reward Tracks
All players have access to a Free Track, while an upgrade to the Premium Track costs 800 Fuel. The Free Track features nine rewards including various Illuvials and Fuel drops. The Premium Track, which offers more valuable rewards, includes:
- Lesser Monkier (40 TPI, Level 20)
- Lura (40 TPI, Level 30)
- Exalted Monkier, Aapon, and Grilla (50 TPI, Level 42)
- Phorus and Goliant (65 TPI, Level 45)
Additionally, Premium rewards feature XP boosts and exclusive items such as the All In Stoic Floralynx emote and the Abyssal Chasm Challenger title.
Event Participants and Challenges
Daily and Weekly missions contribute to Arena Points totals, with Premium missions offering greater points. Players with the Premium Event Pass can also register for the Illuvium Challengers Series #2 starting on October 18. The tournament will have a $500 USD prize pool distributed in ILV tokens, with the top three players receiving cash prizes.
Context and Updates
The Abyssal Chasm Event Pass follows the Taiga Boreal pass, which ran from September 16 to October 1. Illuvium has described these Event Passes as shorter mini Battle Passes occurring more frequently. Recent balance patches have also been implemented alongside the new version, adjusting various gameplay elements to enhance fairness and competitiveness.
